Create a keyboard shortcut to open a folder

Here are the steps:


- Go to your folder


- Right Click / Send To / Desktop (create shortcut)


- Right Click on the folder's shortcut from desktop and then click "Properties"


- Change "Shortcut key" to whatever you want


- Click ok

How to disable balloon tips in Windows XP

Get rid of this balloons that every day show tips to you. The steps:



- Open Registry Editor, start/run/"regedit"

- HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Sofware/Microsoft/Windows/Explorer

- Right Click/New => DWORD Value

- Name it "EnableBaloonTips"

- Right Click on it, Modify and set Value data to 0 (zero)
- Restart Windows

I will show you how to view the your must visited website with Internet Explorer. You must have Internet Explorer history function enabled to do the next steps:


- Open Internet Explorer

- Open the "history" pane by pressing CTRL + H
- Click on "View" pull-down and choose "Most Visited"

Change the temp folder

Here are some easy steps to change the folder where temporary files are saved:


- Start/Run -> "regedit" -> Ok

- HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Environment

- right click on "TMP" and click "modify" (or double click on "TMP")

- type in "Value data" the path where you want to save the temp files

- restart system
